The new-look vehicle features a design language similar to that used for its unconventional pickup, the Cybertruck. Tesla has also introduced what it called the “first indirect reflective body panel taillight of its kind” with the refreshed crossover, which boasts a driving range that is 30 kilometers (19 miles) longer than the previous version at a starting price of RMB 263,500 ($35,900). Tesla’s aging product lineup in China had reduced its market share from 7.8% in 2023 to 6% in the January to November period last year, according to Bill Russo, founder and CEO of Automobility.
