Rachael Bland touched many people's lives through her work as a presenter on Short film ArchivesBBC Radio 5 Live. Bland died in early September from breast cancer after sharing her experience of living with cancer on her podcast, "You, Me and The Big C".
Less than two months after her death, Bland has won a posthumous radio award.

Steve attended the Audio and Radio Industry Awards (ARIAs) on Thursday and collected the Best New Show award on Rachael's behalf, joined by her co-presenters Lauren Mahon and Deborah James.

"I know Rachael would have been so proud too," wrote Steve on Twitter.
